Grumpy’s Water Slide and Mini Golf

What is Grumpys?
A name like Grumpys often evokes a lot of curiosity. And, it should because Grumpys is a place for fun, relaxation and enjoyment. It offers adults and kids a whole day of fun-filled activities. Located at Thomson Avenue in Cowes, Grumpys is easily accessible from most Cowes holiday accommodation in the vicinity.
Grumpys is a mini golf park that use to also have the waterslide – unfortunately the waterslide is no longer running. The mini golf is sheltered under cover, so it is the perfect place to spend time in Cowes if the sun is too hot or rain has thrown your itinerary into disarray.
Grumpys Cowes was initially renowned for its giant waterslide, which was extremely popular during summer months and on hot days. Now it is better known for the great Mini Golf Course. Honing your golfing skills can a lot of fun at the covered mini golf course, especially for the little ones. The mini golf can test your golfing skills and give you a run for your money.
While there is no café at Grumpys Cowes, there are ample tables and benches. Most visitors to the Park bring their picnic hampers.
The mini golf opens at 9 am during summer holidays and closes at 9.30 pm. And, for winter, Easter and spring holidays, the course is open from 9 am until 5 pm. However, if the mini golf is busy, it can close later than 5 pm.
There are No weather problems for the Crazy Golf – it’s all under cover.
During the weekends (excluding school holidays), the mini golf operates from 10 am till 5 pm.
Mini Golf: $7 for pensioners and children; $9 for adults
If visitors do group bookings, they receive a discount. Grumpys Mini Golf also offers privacy for parties and schools. Such groups can have private use of the water slide and mini golf if groups have sufficient number of people. However, advance bookings are a must.
It is best to call up Grumpys Cowes before planning on spending a day at the Park. This way, visitors will avoid disappointment if the Park is closed or booked for private groups and parties.
